A simple A-line cut dress with a wide-cut, dropped shoulder. The Manon is designed to be the ultimate dress, easy and comfortable to wear on it’s own or as part of the layered look. Each dress is a one-off combination of colour blocks patched together in reclaimed textiles. Neck and arm shapings, length and the size of the pocket vary slightly every time I make a Manon. I take the time to let the new dress evolve from the original pattern.
The Esme is a simple combination of black, grey and sludgy green, in reclaimed linen. Contrast feature stitching is bright green
The patch pockets are a good comfortable size.
Neck and arm openings are edged with naturally dyed, organic cotton binding, and all seams are enclosed for long-lasting wear. If you hang natural fibres to air, and wash at 30 degrees only when they actually need it, you’ll help save the planet and your clothes will last longer.
The Manon Esme is listed as a size 1. It is 56cm measured from side to side under the arm openings. The Width at the widest point of the shoulder is 75cm. Width of the neck opening is 26cm. Width at the hem is 73cm. Length is 93cm. Dimensions can be seen on the last image.
